Backup

After entering new pigeons in the program and then exiting program I think it says pigeons were successfully backed up.
Would that backup be backed up on my computer or somewhere in cyber space? I lost a bunch of entries. Trying to figure out where they went.

This can be found in Edit=>Preferences (or the toolbar icon). On the main screen there, there's an interval and location setting. The backups are named after this: pigeonplanner_backup_YYYY-MM-DD.zip

I found the pigeon planner backup. with the date it was backed up. its a zipped file and will not let me open??

It's indeed just a zipped file. You'll have to handle it it Pigeon Planner though. Go to File=>Backup in the menu bar and choose "Restore backup". This option is also available without opening a database in the manager at startup.
